Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders

Encouraging women to pursue a career in STEM

The Sky is the Limit-it's your time.

Both of my parents inspired me to work hard and never quit, regardless of how hard things may get. Raised at an early age to put God first in all I do, and trust that he would guide my path, my journey into a STEM career was one no one saw coming. Yet it would forever change my life.

Decades later, I can look up and see my dream fulfilled, thanks to everyone in my life. But it was not easy; there were some challenges along the way. But each challenge made me both better and stronger.

I shared more of the details of my story in the video below. But now it is about you, and the opportunity you have in front of you.

A piece of advice I was given that I will now share with you, "Do not accept the words 'you're not qualified', if it is a job you want to do, let no one stop you. Find out what you need to qualify and make it happen".

I believe in you, and now it is time for you to believe in yourself. Will it require hard work and sacrifice? Yes. But your success will be the inspiration for the next generation.

Now is the time. It's your time. Are you ready?

In this video, we each share our stories on how each of us started our careers in a STEM field.
